A NEW ARTIST FROM THE GALLERY

And why not a classic work! … .Paul MANTES, second Grand Prix de Rome for painting.

Discover his copies of works from the Louvre and his personal works on the Act On Art Paris website 

Paul Mantes taught at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and at the École Boulle. An architect, he has created buildings, villas, administrative buildings and in particular projects to put the Defense district into perspective. Paul Mantes graduated from the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris as a Major and second Grand Prix de Rome. After a career as an architect, he returned to his first vocation: painting. Paul Mantes' personal work includes numerous copies of originals from the Louvre or Orsay museums, sumptuous “trompe l'oeil”, and a personal work: "Imaginary cities", "Lost paradises", "Dreamlike visions", incredible Palladian visions of metropolises in ruins, of solitary cathedrals, sometimes with surprising baroque paintings.

A NEW ARTIST OF THE GALLERY:
