Biography

A theater costume designer for fifteen years, Bérénice turned to another medium. This time it is a wrapping made of papers based on the art of collage, more exactly a transfer of images. After several exhibitions of her paintings, she decides to do research on this material and comes to pass on her technique in free workshops, expression for all audiences. At the same time, she is pursuing a training in art therapist.

Fragment of History

His fragments, his pieces of images, stuck together and superimposed on each other, compose a story and give, unwittingly, mixed with the fragmented universe of words tangled with colors, a sensory content. All the pieces of the painting, like scraps of memories, interact and unite in an interlacing of stories. Some of his paintings resemble those old posters which, having crossed the ages, have left the imprint of a word, of a face, as if these latter were whispering the years on the patina of the walls.

The technique used is similar to the photographic process of image transfer under the glass and on which only the ink is deposited.
