'Act On Art Paris': Newsletter November / November 2018.
With a Zoom on Digital Art

Hello,

Digital art in one of its technical variations obtained a record sale at Christie's in NewYork ($ 432). He thus revealed his existence to the general public with the portrait of a fictitious character “Edmond de Bellamy” produced by an artificial intelligence program designed by the French collective 'Obvious'.
This art offers a vast field of possibilities to artists who explore its potential, resulting from a creative work associating paintings, drawings, photos, ... and digital techniques, with algorithms manipulating images (including artificial intelligence) and software for transforming or generating images,….

Two artists from Act On Art offer you their work in this field:

Claudia Do Amaral - recently arrived in the Gallery - with digital works made from his paintings, pastels and photographs. Nature, a source of great energy and inspiration, occupies a preponderant place in his work. His work is characterized by a keen sense of color and by a dense painting, put at the service of a sensory and subjective language, intimate and instinctive.

Rico Da Halvarez, who combines his photographs with digital objects from a medium, algorithms for manipulation and image transformations. He is the demiurge of a plastic and poetic universe in perpetual change and expansion of which, like a puppeteer, he draws the threads, and which, today, develops mainly on the Net.
