UN NOUVEL ARTISTE DE LA GALERIE
Entre Art abstrait et Art optique aux effets visuels qui déstabilisent notre vision

Nelson Dias Lopes est architecte et peintre, ces deux métiers sont pour lui indissociables. Les assemblages et les reliefs occupent une partie importante de son œuvre (obsession d’architecte pour la 3D ?). Sa peinture offre un contraste puissant entre la rigueur de la structure de l’œuvre, très souvent à dominante verticale (réminiscence encore de l’architecte ?), et l’exubérance dans la juxtaposition des formes et motifs empruntés (évocation du baroque de son pays natal ?). Si Paris est devenu sa ville, sa vie, une partie de son cœur bat toujours à Rio : il y retourne souvent à la recherche de son oxygène brésilien.
Il expose régulièrement en France, notamment à Paris, dans des lieux institutionnels, salons et galeries.
On peut trouver ses œuvres dans le Fonds International d’Art Contemporain de Busigny – Nord Pas de Calais – France et au MNBA-Musée National des Beaux Arts de Rio de Janeiro.

A NEW ARTIST OF THE GALLERY:
Nelson Dias Lopes : is an architect and painter, these two professions are for him inseparable. The assemblages and the reliefs occupy an important part of his work (obsession of architect for 3D?). His painting offers a powerful contrast between the rigor of the structure of the work, very often predominantly vertical (reminiscence still of the architect?), And the exuberance in the juxtaposition of forms and patterns borrowed (evocation of the baroque sound native country ?). If Paris has become his city, his life, a part of his heart always beats in Rio: he often returns there in search of his Brazilian oxygen.
He exhibits regularly in France, particularly in Paris, in institutional venues, salons and galleries.
His works can be found in the International Fund of Contemporary Art of Busigny – Nord Pas de Calais – France and at the MNBA-National Museum of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro.
