A NEW ARTIST OF THE GALLERY:
“A feeling of immensity that lets thought travel” Karine Lahannier invites us to discover a whole universe of colors that she has always had with her.
From learning calligraphy to transposing line art onto canvas, the artist has acquired a culture of movement and a mastery of the fusion of nuances. She likes to play on their intensity and their luminosity. Other finding landmarks for Karine, the works of Turner, Soulages, Rothko or the Chinese artist ZaoWou-Ki, whose work she particularly admires. Glass powder or sand, for texture, and pure pigments are harmoniously associated with strong colors, such as soothing blue, amber or energizing red.
OUR EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS
- Due to the Coronavirus epidemic, our exhibition From May 01 to May 14, 2020, at Cloître des Billettes in Paris in the Marais district with Francois Nugues, marie lepetit and Laurence Verney is cancelled.
- From September 28 to October 4, 2020, in the Galerie “l'Atelier Gustave” in Paris in the Montparnasse district, we will exhibit Dominique le marois, Poumi Lescaut, Baba Limousin.
- The OCTO Company invited us to exhibit in its premises 34 Avenue de l'Opéra in Paris, three artists from the Gallery: Beatrice Bissara, Vladimir hofmann, Francois Nugues.
